Hey, this is Krista Moon from Ascend Business Growth. Today, we will discuss the top three essential things you can do to transform your messy and unorganized sales database into a valuable asset for your company.
1. Create a Strategic Plan
Number one is to start with creating a strategic plan, which I know sounds obvious. But we need to know who the users are and what features and functions they want to get out of the system.
What's working well now? Where are the friction points? And especially, what data do you need to collect that will help drive your business forward?
2. Collect and Clean Your Data
Number two is to collect and clean your data. The last thing we want to do is import bad data, which will not help anyone. So, taking time upfront to validate and confirm that the information you're entering is true and accurate will help make this whole thing much more successful.
3. Have a Strong Onboarding Plan
And number three is to have a strong onboarding program so that when users enter the system, they're set up for success. You want to ensure we facilitate adoption and get people to use the system.
